Will I have to purchase land to play the game?

Access to town slots in the game can be obtained through various methods:

1.
Land Ownership: Owning land grants players the ability to invite others to the remaining town slots on their land. Additional benefits will be introduced gradually.

2.
Invitation by Landowners: Players can be invited by landowners, although access can be revoked at the landowner's discretion. In the future, this may involve taxes or entry fees, with restricted removal rights for a specific duration in the case of fees.

3.
Whitelist Invitation by Medieval Empires: During early access, players may receive access through whitelist invites. This access can be revoked, such as in cases of prolonged inactivity.

4.
Stake $MEE: Players can stake $MEE tokens for access to a town slot. The number of tokens required would depend on the Tier players want to play on. Access will be granted as long as the tokens are staked.

5.
F2P Access: Players can play for free, but with limited progress and abilities (such as they will not be able to create anything on the blockchain) and/or higher fees/taxes on in-game currencies.
