Previously, when players staked for a town slot in Medieval Empires, they were assigned a fixed town slot. Now, staking no longer locks players into a specific slot. Instead, it grants them the flexibility to choose any available slot within the tier they staked for—or any lower-tier slot—as long as its within the Faction Leader’s County.
Here’s what this means:
- More Choice: Players can now freely pick any eligible slot within their staked tier or a lower one, rather than being assigned a fixed location.
- No Taxes or Requirements: Staked players can settle on these slots without paying taxes or meeting additional requirements.
- Other Players Can Settle Too: Non-staked players can still claim these slots, but they must pay taxes.
- Faction-Specific: Staking applies only within the current faction. If a player switches factions, they must select a new settlement slot in their new faction’s lands.
