Step 1: Set up an Army (Optional)
Players can start by setting up an army in the Military HQ or can assemble their army later (as described in Step 3).
Each army will have a hero as the commander, along with many more heroes and units. Players will be able to create their armies in the Army Setup window in the Military HQ. Each army would have a Hero as its leader, along with several archers, cavalry and infantry men, depending on the Military HQ level.
Step 2: Initiate the Attack
Players can send their army to attack a target on the Province Map by clicking on the target and initiating the attack.
Step 3: Assemble Army
Players can choose one of the army setups that they already created or put together a custom army setup in the 'Assemble Army' window.
Step 4: Battle!
When you click on 'Attack', your army will march towards the target on the map. During this movement, players can also abort the attack at any time - either via a drag and drop to a new target or by clicking halt or return button. Once the army reaches the target, the fight would begin.
After the battle is complete, the army would march back to your town.
Step 5: Results
Upon completion, the player will receive a report of the battle. After each battle, heroes and units lose one durability. They will also need time to recover, depending on the Hit Points (HP) lost during the battle. If the battle is won, players will receive rewards.
